Snowmobiler at MGH After Accident

    Great Lakes Radio NewsMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Whiteout conditions are believed to be the cause of a snowmobile accident yesterday morning in Schoolcraft County.
    The Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened around 11 a.m. near the 8-mile cut across and trail 413.
    Police say a 48-year-old man from downstate Clayton was riding on the trail when he was thrown from the machine into a tree, breaking his leg. First responders transported the man to an ambulance and he was taken to Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital for treatment.
    He was later transported to Marquette General Hospital. No name has been released at this time and the man’s condition is unknown.
