Two Suspects in Alger County Armed Robbery

    Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan State Police at the Negaunee Post say two suspects have been identified in the investigation of a recent armed robbery and home invasion.

    The incident occurred early last Tuesday at a residence on County Road 440 in Alger County’s AuTrain Township.

    19-year-old Allen Miron was beaten by armed intruders who broke into his home, attacked and robbed him and stole several items from the residence.

    The Alger County Prosecutor has issued arrest warrants for the two suspects on charges of armed robbery, home invasion and assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.

    Troopers say the suspects live in a downstate community and attempts to arrest them are underway. No names will be released pending arrest and formal arraignment.

    All charges in the case are felonies punishable by up to life in prison.
