CEO Gary Muller says expectations have been greatly exceeded and a strategic plan for MGH includes a multi-category approach to measuring continued progress.  The categories are: quality standards, physicians, financial status and facility conditions.

Priorities for MGH include broadening the base of Superior Health Partners, physician recruitment and additional capital expenditure by Duke LifePoint of $300 million dollars over the next 10 years.

Muller says MGH will also be updating its facility, with cosmetic facelifts and major brick and mortar construction projects totaling almost $20 million dollars.
